My heart goes out to the Campbell family at the loss of such a great man from their lives. Having grown up in the 8th ward, I can attest that the influence of David was felt through not just contact with him, but through contact with his family as well. From his wife Imera to the youngest daughter DeeDee, I have been influenced to be a better person, to continually follow Christ and to do good, which has been the direct influence of David, the spiritual leader of their family. It was an honor and a blessing to know David, firsr as my friend's Dad, then later as a Bishop who baptized my oldest three children - Chad, Greg, and Kevin Watkins. It is my hope that the family finds comfort one with another, with their friends, and with the Lord in their time of sorrow. Find comfort in knowing that it is a temporary sorrow, as families are forever and theirs is one sealed for time and eternity. You are in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you all.
