David W. Ehlen, Jr., age 51, of Colorado Springs is with Jesus as of December 3, 2021.
"DWEJR" is survived by his wife of twenty-three years, Michelle; their children, Amanda Ehlen and Josh Ehlen; his father, David Ehlen, Sr.; his sister, Ruth Ehlen; and numerous extended family members and friends.
David's mother, Judy Ehlen, is joyous to be reunited with her beloved son in heaven.
His life as husband, father, brother, son, son-in-law, nephew, cousin, friend, boss, co-worker, and teammate was richly full of deep roots in his community.
All whose lives have been touched by him are invited to celebrate his life at 3:30PM, Sunday, January 16, 2022, Bethel Lutheran Church, 4925 Farmingdale Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80917. Fellowship to follow.

Our sympathies and heartfelt wishes for peace and comfort. On behalf of the Eastern Plains Rodeo Team and all of the youth organizations who had the support of David and Buzzards over the years. The impact of this support is wide and deep. Such a big loss for the community, but I hope his family knows how many people were touched by his kindness.
