Mom, Dad, Clay and Suzanne
I am back in Maryland but my heart is there with you in Colorado and Texas. King David said in Psalm 51: "wash me and I will be whiter than snow." My mind pictures the snow falling and blowing on one of the prettiest places on this planet- the foot of the mountain where my bother was laid to rest on Monday. I love you and my heart is broken along with yours. Even though the heartache is almost too much to bear, I am grateful we were able to be together. I loved my "baby brother" and though he has gone ahead of us, we will always be a family. May God comfort us, wash away our tears, and give us His grace to get though this sorrowful time. I love you, Val

Ferrero family,
I am sorry that I was unable to attend the funeral but please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Unfortunately, I did not have the pleasure of knowing David very well but, from what I have heard and read, he was a great man. All of you are in my heart and please remeber that my thoughts and prayers are with you...

Our prayers are with the entire Ferrero family during this very challenging and difficult time. The loss of a child at any age is hard for any parent to deal with, and losing a sibling is like no other loss – because each loss of a family member is so unique. Please know that you have friends and family from all over the country who grieve for you and pray for your inner healing. God has given each of us the strength to deal with adversity and there is nothing too hard for us to overcome. Although we can’t be with you physically, we are with you in our prayers.

May the peace of the Lord be with you all.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the entire Ferrero family, whom I consider to be part of my extended family. My heart has a void that will never be filled, but I will never forget all of the GOOD times that David and I had growing up. Playing drums, going to Denver Nuggets games, playing pranks on everyone... I will miss you, David.
