David Hardy Obituary

Roberta so sorry to hear of your loss. I enjoyed so much the time when David was our coach at Taloga. I was remembering one game at Custer City when he had put me in the game and I took couple of long shots out front and he called time out and said now Keith I didn't put you in to shoot the ball but to handle it, which I was better at ball handling than shooting. I know he had a strong faith in his God and we can take some comfort in knowing he is in the arms of JESUS now singing in that heavenly choir. God Bless and keep you.

Roberta, May the Lord comfort you and your family during this time of grief. Throughout high school, especially when you and David lived across from dad and me on Violet, David always looked out for me, encouraging me to make better decisions in life and discouraging my tendency toward making bad decisions by "keeping an eye on me" when dad was out of town. Tiffany fondly recalls spending passing periods across the LHS hallway from you. Your kindness and helpfulness and David's positivity and humor will always be remembered. Our thoughts, prayers, and sincere condolences are with you.

I enjoyed knowing Mr. Hardy through our association at Cottonwood and later at South Middle School. He was my boss at both locations. We had good conversations about the fact we had both been at Taloga and I camped with my Woodward scout troop at the Sutter ranch near where he lived as a youth. I consider it to have been a privilege to know him.

So sorry to hear of Mr. Hardy's passing. He was a great man and he will be missed. Thoughts and prayers to Mrs. Hardy and family.

Roberta and Family...We were so sorry to hear of Dave's passing. Dave was a good friend and adviser in addition to being one of my "bosses." We were blessed to have you both as part of our school family. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers at this time.

We wish to send our condolences to the family of David Hardy. David was our basketball coach and our mentor. He demanded the best of us on and off the court. David's life represents all that is good in education. His influence on his students was substantial. He made us better men. May God bless the Hardy family during this time of sorrow.

I am so sorry to hear about David's passing. He is an angel looking down from heaven over his family and watching over them to protect you all. He is pain free. He was a great man and truly cherished his jobs in the USD#480 school district. I am glad I had a friendship with him that I will cherish for the rest of my life. He will be missed by many. I'm so sorry to hear of loss of my former principal. He was an extremely kind man with an awesome voice. I considered he and Roberta as friends. He will be missed.

I will miss my Uncle David. So glad he called last weekend to visit with us. We will see him soon in Heaven, where he is with his Mom and Dad now, walking on streets of gold!!!
