I am really sorry to hear about the loss of Dr. Melendez. Throughout his life he must have helped so many people and his work was not for granted. I did not know him but he must have been a great person. One day he will be seen again and it will be a moment of great rejoice. May the hope of everlasting life comfort you during this difficult time.

I am so very sorry to learn of the passing of David. I was proud to be a colleague with David at the College of Education at UCCS. David was a superb leader and a kind person. "Live a kind life" perfectly suits the great man that David was. I pray for his family. He was always so incredibly proud of his wife and children. The world is a poorer place without David's loving support for everyone he knew.
Love and Prayers,
