David Silva Obituary
David was an artist, working as a cartoonist and musician. David liked to travel, and spent time living all over the U.S. He married Nannette Ladow and raised his step-daughter Kristin. David recovered from addiction with the help of Beacon House in San Pedro, and repaid that gift by sponsoring and supporting others in their recovery. He also supported the Boy Scouts in San Pedro.
David passed away peacefully on 9/11/2015. He is survived by his wife Nannette, daughters Kristin and Danielle, sisters Tami Barnard, Pam Acha and Patricia Dobbs, brother Dan Silva, and an extended family. He also leaves behind numerous friends and "brothers and sisters" at the Beacon House.
David made music and laughter wherever he went, and left a trail of friends everywhere. He will be sorely missed.
A celebration of life will be held in Long Beach, CA on 10/24/2015 at
3:00 PM. Please contact [email protected] for details.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in David's name to the Beacon House Association of San Pedro (http://www.thebeaconhouse.org/).
