On June 9, 2022, David Brian Thompson, loving husband and father of four children, went to see our Lord and Savior at the age of 57.
David was born on July 16, 1964, in Fullerton California. He began his lifelong career in software engineering at Chevron and continued to work with passion and expertise in the field until his death.
On January 26, 1991, David married Tina LaVonne Terrel. Together, they raised their four children, sons, Steven, Jonathan, and Matthew and daughter, Brynnath-Rose.
David had a passion for helping others which he expressed through his work with the Boy Scouts of America, AWANAs, and most recently the Civil Air Patrol. He adored his family and all things Snoopy and Looney Tunes. He was well known for his quick wit, kindness, and compassionate heart.
David is survived by his wife Tina, mother, Pat, sister, Christine and his four children. He is preceded in death by his father, Michael and stepmother, Janna.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations in his honor may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline or To Write Love On Her Arms.
