Although I never had the pleasure of meeting David, I am well aware of how much he meant to his family and friends. I wish I had met him. I am sending best wishes to his family on this, the 5th anniversary of his passing.

There are no words to express the extent of our sorrow at the loss of your precious David.Only those who have lost children know the depth to which our hearts ache.Treasure every special memory you have and in time may God's healing comfort bring you a measure of peace. Till then may He carry you through each moment, hour, and day.How we wish we could be there with you at this time.Till we can visit, we will carry you both (and Barbara too) in our prayers, our thoughts, and our hearts.

David was 6 when we moved to Missouri and we didn't know him as well as we would have liked to. But I will always remember the times when David and Steve would stop and visit on their way to Illinois to shooting events. It was a touch of home that was much appreciated.
Georgia and I send our prayers and hearts to Steve and Julie. We know how mush this hurts and we also know that the Lord will pull you through this time of sorrow. There will always be a hole in your heart but over time it will be filled with the good memories of his life with you and be a place of joy rather than pain.

David The Great Hunter - What an AMAZING kid. My family has watched him grow up. He was the joker - He could make you laugh till you cried. He was a gentle soul. He and my kids would hunt rabbits, and whatever else they could find. He never really asked for much. His guitar could be heard as he played the song Stairway to Heaven. Boy could he play. His laugh only Dave laughed like that. Dave, we will miss you so very very much. Steve and Julie I wish I could hug you and make it better. But know we will always be here for you both. We love and will miss our buddy Dave. Happy Hunting Dave save some for us.

I am very saddened that I never had the pleasure of meeting David. He was dearly loved by his Grandmother and my friend, Barbara West, so I heard many nice things about him. Blessings to all of his family.
