David Whaley Obituary

David was a longtime Colorado Springs resident. His passion was classic cars and he belonged to the Rocky Mountain Oldsmobile Club. He also enjoyed Colorado College hockey.

He was "Grandpa Dave" to Nevaeh, Faith, and Jennie, whom he adored.

He is survived by brothers, Timothy and Jonathon; nephew, Lee; niece, Jayme; companion, Stephanie Zimmer and her son, Steve.

So sorry to hear about Dave, he was a great friend. I'll miss his "blond" jokes, and I loved to kid right back with him. He was a great mentor when teaching the dances for the C.W's. I'll miss him.He had a lot of patients,

Dave and I ran into each other almost weekly during the summer months (car show season) as we both had a passion for Oldsmobiles and cars in general. He was a great guy and always had a smile on his face. Dave will be missed by all who knew him. He is now with the Lord, may he rest in peace.

I have been friends with Dave for the many years he has belonged to our Oldsmobile club. He was always able to talk to anyone and was a good listener. We all enjoyed his company when he could attend our events.
