To the family and friends of Spc. Deangelo Snow:
Remembering Deangelo on the anniversary of his passing. May our fallen heroes never be forgotten.

To the family of Spc. Deangelo Snow:
Deangelo gave the ultimate sacrifice and will be held in the hearts of Americans forever. I cannot and will not let our fallen heroes be forgotten. My deepest sympathy to you. "Some gave all."

To the Snow family. I am deeply sorry about your loss. This is certaintly something very difficult that your going through. May the promises found in John 5:28,29 Bring you comfort. My deepest sympathy and condolences.

To the family and particularly the mother of Deangelo. I am a mother and grandmother. My oldest grandson is Deangelo's age and I felt like a knife went through me. Without God, this would be unbearable. Thank God his suffering is over. I didn't know your son, but I thank God that he honored his oath to serve and I will be forever greatful for his ultimate sacrifice. I will cherish his memory.

I have loved and lost, but never a child. Remember, "...weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning..."

I do not know the family but I don't know
any of the family but for me any time someone is serving for our country we are
family. My son is in the Navy. He is schedule to retire January 31, 2011 after 28 years. My prayers are with each of you. We shall meet and greet
in that great glorious morning.

I never had the honor of knowing your son but wanted to thank Deangelo for his ultimate sacrifice for America. My prayers are with all of you and may Deangelo rest peacefully with our Lord.

D Snow was a very close friend of mines, i haven't known him that long, but it seems like i've known him FOREVER. i just wish we could have spent more time together. He will be missed and loved by lots. R.I.P SNOWflAKEEEE.

I did not know Spc. Snow but felt compelled and Honored to stand at the side of the road Saturday morning to pay my respects. What a small, insignificant, way to say Thank You. May God comfort your family.

I would like to send my condolensces to the family of D. Snow. When I heard of this young mans untimely death I began to cry. I did not know DeAngelo, but I too am a soldier, so he is my "brother in arms." As his name is added to the lists of the fallen and his picture is added to the walls of heroes, you can be assured that he will NEVER be forgotten.

may you find the strength to heal from your loss. always remember his sacrafice and heroism will never be forgotten.

I was in basic with Snow. He was a good soldier. It's a tragedy to lose him. My heart and blessings go out to him and his family.

So very sorry about your loss. He was a hero and will always be remembered that way. My husband's family lost a son at age 24 in WWII so I do know what you're going through. My prayers are with you and your family.

I may not have known SPC SNOW but as a soldier currently serving overseas my thoughts and my prayers are with all of his friends and family. I'm sure that he was a very finse individual in his military life as well as his civilian life. May God bless his family and anyone who was fortunate enough to have known him.

I went to Basic Training with Snow and he was an exceptional artist. This is a very sad happening and I will always keep Snow in my thoughts and his family in my prayers. Snow is a true hero and will be missed.

May God shine his tortch upon your family. I pray he rock you all to sleep at night not many things we can say to comfort. Our only ways to doing that is to pray and to get right with god ourselves. Memories will forever live on with DSNOW. I cant even imagine the pain put just even to have a heart, a kind, gental heart you still find yourself crying over this situation wishing i had just more than one memory with him than just being oer at the house in brookwood for "Christmas Break" i will never forget that night, thats something i will forever hold. He was a outgoing creative, smart young man and i know deep down in my soul that this boy is looking down smiling wishing he can say he's okay "stop crying Mom, stop crying friends and Family, it's alright im in a safer place now" only God knows and all we can do once again is live for the lord our savior to see "DSNOW THE HERO" again so he can make us all laugh with his humerous self....love you SNOW family Stay Strong and Prayed up!!

The Final Salute

“Brothers in Arms”, Military men and women down through the centuries, have traditionally exchanged “Hand Salutes” as a sign of recognition and as a way to render courtesy and respect one to another.

This “Hand Salute” is the last that we shall render to our Brother-in-Arms Spc. Deangelo Snow. To his family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for Deangelo. And to Deangelo it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to thank him for the ultimate sacrifice he made for his country while opposing enemy forces in Afghanistan. No greater love is shown than a man lay down his life for another. Deangelo, you are a brave American Warrior, a true Patriot and a national Hero. With your passing, our Country has lost a National Treasure. We bid you a sad farewell. You will be dearly missed from among our ranks. Be at ease. Rest in Peace.

I didn't know SPC. Snow personally, but he was in the same unit as my brother SPC. Butler. When my brother told me what happened I could hear the pain in his voice. Although I can not feel the pain you guys are feeling I can imagine. Just know joy does come!! I am praying for you guys... He will truly be missed..
