Deanna Lane Obituary

This is so sad. I remember Deanna as a little girl who used to follow us "older" kids around when we all lived in Fairplay CO. The entire Lane family was so special to us and I will always remember her smiling face. May God's graces bring Her family comfort during this difficult time.

Dear Lane/McBroom Family,
At this time of sadness, loss and reflection my heart goes out to you. Sunny was one of the first people I met when I relocated to Colorado to work for DVR. Even among an empathetic crew Sunny stood out for her warmth, humor and down to earth way. That was rooted in her depth. You can be very proud of the work ethic and heart she brought to her work. She will be missed and long remembered with love and respect.

The Lane family has been very special to Tammy and me for many years. Being friends with each of the three girls (and Bill and Peggy) has meant a lot to me. I have some great memories of time spent with each of them. You all have my deepest sympathy and continuing prayers.
Josh and Sean, you must remember all the good times spent with your mother and how much she loved you. Let these memories and that love fill your heart.

We worked briefly with Sunny and occasionally ran into her and her sister Lisa (whom we work with a lot!)
Sunny was always funny, smiling and personable. We respected her greatly for the work she did and the dedication she had to helping disabled folks.

I cleaned the building that Sunny worked in I didn't know her personally but she was a kind woman and was always smiling and laughing when we spoke on days that I saw her. Sunny you may be gone but you will never be forgotten. R.I.P. Pretty Lady.

I was so saddened to hear of Sunny's passing. I didn't know her but worked with many of the CO Spgs. DVR staff in the past. I too hope she has found peace.

Deanna "Sunny" was one of a kind and those who were blessed to have known her are better for it.
