We are so shocked and sadden to hear this news. We had such a wonderful time with Debbie just a few weeks ago at the Pueblo zoo. You could tell she just loved being with you and the kids. Your mom is now with Owen. She will be greatly missed.

Now Debbie is with Owen, and we must take comfort in that. May God comfort you in your sorrow and keep you in these dark days. And may you rest in the sure and certain knowledge of how much she loved you all.

Your mother was unfailingly kind and gracious and warm. I'll always recall her patience with teenage girls; her enthusiasm for music; her tender heart; her deep faith. I am honored to have known her. I can only imagine how sharp and fierce your pain must be. I pray for your consolation.
