Debra R. Kuwamoto, 68, of Colorado Springs, CO passed away in peace on December 26, 2023, surrounded by those who loved and cared for her deeply.
Debra was born May 24th, 1955 in Alhambra, CA. to the late Raymond and Josephine (Reseigne) Thomas. Debra was a loving and kind-hearted woman who touched the lives of many with her generosity and love for animals. She is survived by her beloved husband, Roy S. Kuwamoto, step-daughter Melody Smith (Cruz) and son-in-law Richard Smith, and grandchildren Andrew and Madison Cruz.
A celebration of life will be held in early January, TBD. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to American Cancer Society. Debra will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever be cherished.

I will miss my sister-friend. We were immediately connected upon meeting at work over 20 yrs ago . Her laughter and her bountiful curls will always be missed. I lover her so much and am devastated that we all lost her but know she is in heaven with all the dogs, horses and kittens as their godmother. My love goes out to Roy and his family.

We are shocked and very, very deeply saddened. Our thoughts and prayers with you Roy and your family. Please accept our condolences.
