Denise DeBlois Obituary

I met Denise when I was 9 years old. My best friend, Heide Cayouette, introduced us and from then on, we always had a blast. Denise´s family moved to Colorado when we were in school at Thomas Eaton Junior High in Hampton, VA. I really missed her, so we always kept in touch writing letters to each other. In high school, Denise came to visit me in Hampton, VA. We had so much fun no matter what we were doing, always laughing and acting crazy together. In 1997, our best friend, Heide, died in a stunt plane crash in Ventura, CA. Denise & I talked on the phone for hours that day. One thought that brings a little peace, is the fact that now Denise is in heaven with Heide and that one day I´ll get to see them again. My sincere condolences are with the Steinke/DeBlois families. Don't know if I ever met Denise. I attended High School in Hampton, Virginia, and was in the band with Cindy Boudreau ( Steinke). Met her parents at a Parent's Band meeting. Such nice people. Cindy, having lost a brother, I sympathize. I pray that our precious savior gives you and your entire family that peace that passes all understanding. And the promise, we will see them again.

So sorry for your loss. It has been many many years since I had seen Denise (probably when we were at Lewis Palmer). She was always such a great person. I was hoping to see her at the 40th reunion a few years ago but did not see her. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
