Such a tragic loss but what an incredible example of a good samaritan. While the pain is great now, we will all remember what a good man that Denny was.

Denny was the most kind hearted man I've ever known. Eric and I were blessed to have him in our lives and Eric even moreso than I, as they have been friends for so long. Denny's life ended at too young an age and tragically while trying to assist an elderly woman whose car was out of control. This was Denny. Always trying to help. He leaves behind two young children, Jake age 15 and Jackie, age 9. I've never seen so many people come out to a funeral viewing as I did today in Plainfield, IL. Denny was loved by many and I know his wife Kathy is also well respected and cared for by many in this community as evidenced by all the people who came today to share their condolences.
Life is too short, and we should all cherish the time we do have with our friends and family.
