Dennis Reisner Obituary

Dennis Reisner, a long-time resident of Colorado Springs, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 7, 2005. He was born on June 14, 1943 in Fort Dodge Iowa to Elmer and Mable Reisner. He graduated from Fort Dodge High School in 1961. Dennis is survived by his devoted wife of 20 years, JeanAnn; four daughters: Rhonda Davis of Las Vegas, Janine Anderson of Fort Dodge, Beth Massacci of Las Vegas, and Colleen Rosenbeck of Colorado Springs; son, Michael Massacci of Boardman Ohio; and eight grandchildren: Jaron, Ashley, Tyler, Brianna, Ashley Lauren, Amanda, Laura, and Dominic. A lifelong Lutheran, Dennis was a man of faith and was a trained Stephen Minister, counseling others in their time of need. He valued family and friends above all else and was never happier than when he was entertaining them. Although Dennis had a number of careers throughout his life, he found the construction industry most fulfilling, even owning his own successful construction business for several years. He was especially proud of his home and yard, and always had a project underway. Some of his favorite projects were building scenery and acting as stage manager for the Benish Dance Express. A gathering in remembrance of Dennis's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 11, at Swan-Law Chapel at 501 North Cascade.
