Dennis "Bird" Robbins, 76, passed away unexpectedly at home on June 13, 2025. A lifelong Colorado Springs resident, Dennis was born October 11, 1948, to James and Dorothy Robbins. He built a successful career in mechanical contracting, rising from apprentice to project manager before retiring in 2015. Dennis loved golf, camping, fishing, and cheering on his Colorado sports teams. A devoted Catholic, he was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Church. He is survived by his wife Rondi, daughter Jenny (Scott), nephews Brian (Alison) and Cary (Jennifer), niece Renee (Josh), and many grandnieces and grandnephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Richard (Sue), Paul and Kathleen. A memorial Mass will be held on July 1, 2025, at 10am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2030 W. Colorado Ave, with visitation beginning at 9am. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery 3825 Airport Rd. Memorial donations may be made to Sacred Heart Church. Dennis will be deeply missed & lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

Work with Dennis on sever jobs and we both worked together with several companies also. Dennis was an honest man and a man of his word.

I am shocked. I knew DR well and worked with him for many years in the HVAC trades. He was a kind and fun person to be around. Now he is with the Lord.
