Desiree was a few years younger than me at Liberty but I do remember how nice and fun loving of a person she was. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss and hope you hold onto to one another for comfort.

Dear Edna and Luis, Words can not convey the sorrow we feel for you. In this time of sadness may all you wonderful memories of Desiree bring you comfort.

We have known Desiree since she was a little girl in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She has always been bubbly, cheerful and energetic. Great memories of someone special like Desiree live on forever. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers, we send hugs from our whole family.

You were a gem. Such a sweet, bright, and beautiful girl. You will be missed.
Grateful for the time we were friends. You will not be forgotten.

I am so blessed to have had a friend like Desiree. She was a constant source of joy, affirmation, adventure, excitement, and pink for many years of my life. I'm so thankful that I have so many memories with such a wonderful person. I'm so looking forward to meeting again one day. All my love!

Desiree made the room light up with her energy and smile. I was lucky to have known her in high school and got to really know her. She will be deeply missed, but I know she is just a prayer away. Thank you Desiree for the time spent together. Rest in peace girl.

I am looking back to this past February, when my friend Julie and I went to Colorado Springs to visit. Luis and Edna took time to show us the magnificent colors of the morning sky against the majestic background of Pikes Peak. Together we drove to The Garden of the Gods, the Royal Gorge, and the USAF Academy -all absolutely breath taking sites.

After our travels to the Garden of the Gods, we visited you at Veda Salon, and you were so excited to see us. Your beautiful eyes and contagious smile made us feel so welcomed. It was easy to see that all of your co-workers and customers so enjoyed your friendship, as well as your professionalism and you were an integral part of the salon.

On our last evening there, Edna planned a special dinner for all of us. Sean and Allyson came over and I enjoyed talking investments with Sean and Volkswagens with Allyson. You arrived shortly thereafter and the evening came alive with excitement. We so enjoyed seeing you, listening to your stories with your warmth and laughter. It was so wonderful to see you again. We were all one big happy family as we sat at the table enjoying the delicious meal before us. It was an evening I will always look back on fondly.

Julie and I both love you and we will miss you so very much. You were always very special and loved by my own Mother as well.

Desiree, you will live in memory as in our hearts forever.

Yes, if anyone could "light up" a room by entering, it was Desiree. Her big brown eyes and bright smile were always a joy to see. I always enjoyed seeing her and Edna stand together, as Desiree was the exact beautiful replica of her mother. May you rest in peace Desiree, take care of Lily for me until I get there and I will love on Chanel every chance I get.

Desiree was such a lovely young woman with a caring heart, wonderful laugh and a sensitive nature. She would brighten our day when she would stop by for a chat. She will be missed by our entire family. Luis and Edna our hearts break for you. Please know you are in our prayers.

Desiree was an amazing young woman with a zest for life and a smile that lit up the room. She always had time to talk to me, a Mom of one of her friends. Even when my daughter was not at home she would sit down for a chat.

Des, I have been in complete shock and absolutely heartbroken for your family. You have been taken far too soon. I can't even begin to understand.
You and I, along with all of our DBU friends, rocked 2005-2007. We definitely had ups and downs, but I will always look back on those years as some of the very best in my life. You had such an incredible energy and it was SO infectious. Oh my God, that LAUGH. geez. And Justin Timberlake? He was lucky to have a fan like you :) I have so many happy memories of you, and so does everyone else. One of the first days we hung out you said, "so do they do 'click it or ticket' in te-has?" It was just the way you said things that made everyone crack up. I remember "finishing homework" at ihop so we could go dancing on thursday nights! I remember on our days off we would have viewing marathons of the OC and nip/tuck. I also remember how much you hated cheese and triscuits- you referred to them as "triscuits of death!" You were really silly- and you always lifted everyone's mood. You were also there for every-single-one of us when we were down. I couldn't have wished for a more fun, caring roomie. May you rest in peace, and I will be praying for your mom, dad, brother, sister-in-law, and the rest of your family of whom you always spoke about with such affection. I love you Des, and Ryan and I will continue to share all of the warm memories that we and our friends made with you.

Desiree, we have known each other since middle school, transition from middle school to high school. High school we still stood strong, after high school we gave drifted apart but I will never forget the day w Claire an Nicole listening to NSYNC! My favorite moments! You are so sweet and loving, I will never ever forget ur charm! Rest in peace sweet angel! You have touched sooooo many lives with who you are and you have touched mine! I love you Desiree!

When I moved to Texas I was having such a hard time with the transition from home to college. And then I met you. You came into my life with your contagious happiness and zest for life, all of the sudden what turned into the hardest times became the best times. I have never been able to lean on a friend the way I leaned on you. You were always the safe place I could go when life got to hard. I can't thank you enough for just being you, no matter what you never lost sight of yourself. I can only aspire to be half of the person you were. I know how much you loved your family and friends, hopefully we can all try to live our lives the way you would want. I'll miss you everyday, love you to the moon des. See you on the other side.

Desiree, my dear sister, I miss you so. You had and will forever have a special place in my heart. Thanks for some of the best years of my life. There are so many little ones up there that are blessed to have you as their angel friend, including my baby Bradley. Desiree was a beautiful ray of sunshine in my life. I will never forget her beautiful smile, joyful laugh, and warm hugs. She had a joy for life that shined in all she did. I am forever grateful to have called her my friend and sister in Christ. I will cherish the memories I had of her the rest of my life. Please accept my deepest sympathy at her passing.
