Sorry for your loss . Des an I hiked the Grand Canyon Rim to Rim to Rim 50 Miler with Boy Scout Troop 748 Davis Monthan AFB. Tucson AZ. We were Scout leaders for the base troop. Des An I were on Active duty with the USAF when we first met. We attended many scout outings together while pursuing our military careers. I still have a copy of Lord Baden Powell's Scout handbook he signed an gave me as a gift we he retired from the USAF and moved Colorado. Many fond memories an good times. RIP DES till we meet again.
