Frances F. Garza
Frances F. Garza, of Edna, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2015 at the age of 86. She was born in Edna, Texas, on June 11, 1928, to the late Hilario Figirova and Antonia Cavazos Figirova.
She was a devoted house wife for many years. Frances touched the hearts of everyone who knew her. She was also a loving aunt, sister and friend who will be missed dearly.
Frances is survived by her sister, Cornelia Morales Menchaca of Edna; nieces, Frances Rangel and Renee Rangel; nephews, Isidro Rangel, Ignacio Rangel, Jr. all of Edna.
Frances is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Esabel R. Garza; sisters, Lupe F. Rangel and Virginia Figirova; brothers, Joe Figirova, Sr. and Gilbert Figirova and nephew, Hilario G. Rangel.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015 from 5-7 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m.in the Oaklawn Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at 6:00 p.m., in the Oaklawn Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Michael Petering will be officiating. A burial will be on Monday, May 18, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Rosewood Memorial Park Cemetery in Humble, Texas.
Honorary pallbearers are Heath Bednarz, Hondo Rangel, Houston Rangel, Tony Morales, Larry Morales, Lonnie Morales, Ignacio F. Rangel, Jr., Isidro Rangel, Kenny Whittley and Travis Rangel.
