Diane Garduno Obituary

Garduno
Diane Marie Garduno
January 13, 1969 - November 21, 2017
Diane Garduno passed away unexpectedly in a motor vehicle accident on November 21, 2017, in Colorado Springs, Colorado at the age of 48.
Diane, was born into an Air Force family on January 13, 1969, in Duluth, Minnesota to Phil and Dodie Bonemeyer. While her father was stationed in Germany she started her higher education at the University of Maryland, Munich Campus. She continued her education while getting her Bachelors from University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, and then graduated from Adams State with a Master's Degree for Curriculum and Instruction. She married LeeAndro, her soulmate, in 1994. Shortly after moving to Falcon, Colorado, Diane began working for the Ellicott School District as a teacher. She worked there for eighteen years, advancing to Middle School Principal. Diane welcomed and was instantly devoted to help raise her husbands' two young children. Over time, together they welcomed three more children, growing into a family of seven. Her children remember her as a dedicated, loving, helpful, strong, smart mother who encouraged them to set and pursue their goals.
Diane truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family, gardening, baking, pickling, and investing in the people of the Ellicott community. She especially enjoyed visiting her family all over the country, creating memories and exploring new places. Diane had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. Her family and friends will always be thankful for the gift that was her life.
Diane, is survived by her parents, Phil and Dodie Bonemeyer of Alamosa, Colorado; husband, LeeAndro Garduno; sons, LeeAndro (Cassandra) Garduno, and Joshua Garduno; daughters, Rachel (Mack) Gralund, Angelina Garduno, and Miranda Garduno; grandson, Gabriel Garduno; granddaughters, Caitlyn Garduno, and Evelyn Gralund; sister, Rae Anne (Dan) McLennan of Cypress, Texas; brother, Michael (Angela) Bonemeyer of Monte Vista, Colorado; mother-in-law, Pauline Garduno; as well as many aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her father-in-law, Manuel Garduno of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
