My sisters and I enjoyed many times being allowed the privelage of playing with the gates kids and enjoying the hospitality of the gates home. Our father moved us from Texas with the Gates and Sno-White

My mother and I would see Ditty and Mary Jo in the hallway at Emerald Towers, and both of them always smiled and had time to say a few words.
It is a rare thing today, when someone will take the time to talk to you. Ditty was a lovely, gracious lady, and we know that she will be missed so much by her family and friends.
It was a real priviledge to know her.

I had the privilage to have known Mrs. Gates as a teenager when she taught Sunday School at Chadbourn Mission. She has deeply touched my life with her love for the Lord. I have seen her many times visiting our church at Chadbourn Mission. I recently had the chance to hear her play the flute at a healing service, it was so nice to hear her play. She will be missed.

My sympathy to Mary Jo and all the family of Ditty. She was one of God's treasures while on earth and now will be with Him and all of her dear ones who have gone on before. Many here in Sun City will mourn her passing but feel it a blessing to have known her. Lovingly, Arlys Gould-Ferris
