Dieter George Rein died on Feb 1, 2021 at 4 am in the morning at Springs Ranch Memory Care. He was born on May 5, 1941 in Schwbisch Hall, Germany. The son of George Alfred Rein and Gertrud Hedwig (Frenz) Rein.
Dieter graduated from Harrison High School and then went on to Western State College in Gunnison, CO. He and his wife became school teachers and then Dieter went on to be a principle at an elementary school in the Harrison School District.
In addition to his parents, Dieter was predeceased by his wife, Beverly June (Roberts) Rein. Surviving are his two sisters; Trudi Ceroni (Andrew) and Linda Rein, his nephews; Jason Field (Krista), Casey Field (Amy), and Andy Ceroni, and his grand nephews Gabriel Field and William Field.
Dieter was an enthusiastic sports participant. He loved biking, hiking, playing softball and basketball. He also was coaching softball for the Park and Rec, refereeing high school basketball games, and umping at kids softball games.
In lieu of flowers, please donate towards the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Sorry to be seeing this so late. Mr. Rein was an amazing influence in my young elementary school life. He always was encouraging, warm, and kind. I wish every principal could be like him. He has been thought of often over the years and will be missed dearly.

I attended high school with Dieter and we remained friends for many years later. He was a great guy and a good friend. He will be missed but not forgotten. My symphonies to the family may God be with you.
