Dear Jean,

We love you and appreciate all the time you spent encouraging Joshua. I know that you were able to get to know us in your later years. I am grateful for how God has delivered you into the Kingdom of Heaven. Our last conversation was about JESUS. Amen! We will be visiting you soon. Love Debbie, Dennis, Jr., and Joshua-your Grandsons.

FAMILY

April 18, 2024

Family comes together
For always and forever
In sickness and in health
In poverty or in wealth
Family comes together
For always and forever
Without any reason
Anytime or any season
Family comes together
For always and forever
In death or in life
In happiness or in strife
Family comes together
For always and forever
In anger or in kindness
Whether all seeing or in blindness
Family comes together
For always and forever
Whether for work or for play
They somehow find a way
For family to come together
Because families are forever

Serenity Prayer

God grant me the Serenity
To accept the things I cannot change;
Courage to change the things I can;
And the wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking as He did, this sinful world, as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life,
And supremely happy with Him forever in the next, Amen.

How often we prayed this prayer huh? We pray you are now nestled in our Father's arms, whole and healthy again, free from pain and stress..supremely happy living among the angels. Now you too are an angel watching over us. Thank you for your love and sharing your life with us. You were truly a gift from God.

I have known Dolores since Elementary School in Walsenburg. She left the community and so later on back in 2014 we became reunited when I moved here to Colorado Springs. Since then we communicated every Sunday at church and by phone. I will miss her very much because we knew many people and shared many things about out hometown. Rest in Peace my Friend.

MOM you have always been a beautiful woman, courageous, brave, strong-willed, a voice of reason, inspiring, hard-working, fierce, dedicated and a person who perseveres. The best story teller of the past. You did your best at being a mother and nurturer, only you could make "everything" better! I can't imagine life without you in it!

I Love you with every fiber of my being and will always keep you alive in my heart.
LOVE, EMPTINESS and TEARS,
your daughter

I worked with Jean at EVANS. She brighten the room with her smile and a kind word. Through the years , when we would see each other at Church or ( last time) at Sam's ..we would catch up and visit as if no time has passed. Jean, you were a Joy and will be greatly missed

Beauty at it's best!

Here's a poem very fitting for you my dear, dear friend. You loved our family from the day you came into our lives through MGA and took my baby and I in as your own. Give my sweet mama a hug and thank you for helping to fill that void. I love you so much. Until we meet again.

I am writing this from heaven,
Where I dwell with God above,
I am resting here with angels,
Who surround me now with love.

Although I may seem far away,
We will truly never part,
For part of me lives on forever,
There within your heart.

So remember to have faith,
Be courageous and be strong.
Think of me with a smile,
And when you hear a heartfelt song.

As life's beautiful journey continues,
May you remember now and then,
I will love and protect you always,
Until we meet again.
