Condolences for Don Chismar. Many years later, I just read the obituary of Don on Feb. 19, 2025. My prayers are with you, your sons and family.

I read news today that the SS United States Cruise Ship is sailing today 2/19/25 for its -- last chapter to FL to be sunk as a reef. (Jogged memories of our trip.)

Dottie, we are so sorry to hear of Don's passing. Sandy taught with you at Monroe and Jerry worked with Don at the Valley Bank. Don always had a smile. We are so sorry.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Don. I cannot tell you how much I respect that man. He helped me with my software company and offered my son-in-law the loans he needed to start his physical therapy clinics. When other banks created mounds of red tape and threw up roadblocks, Don - in his friendly and warm ways - created a path to success. He quietly delivered what other banks promised but did not deliver. He understood and offered the kind of relationship between bank and business that is lost today. We lost a great man.

I am so sorry for your loss. It has been a pleasure getting to know Don over the years and I will really miss his funny stories! Blessing to the family, know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Don gave my sister and I the loans we needed to open our UPS Stores when no one else would. He made me laugh til I snorted everytime I stopped by the CMB. Mary & I adored him. We are so sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry to learn of Don's passing. I always enjoyed our encounters at Lynmar several years back and always found him to be an exceptional gentleman and family man. Thinking of you Dottie and your children in your grief.

I am so sorry for your loss. Don gave my husband his first loan ever on a truck. He followed Don to Cheyenne Mountain Bank and we would go visit him.

Dottie, so sad to read of Don's death. I still can smile and giggle thinking about the trips skiing with you, Don, Randi and I. Don was always such a sweet man. My thoughts are with you and your sons.

Another true community banker has checked into the Big Bank in the sky Always a smile and a shy reserve made him a customer favorite. He will be missed by many and admired by even more. May his light continue to shine so others may remember his good works.
