DON ALLEN MCCURDY
September 22, 1952 August 19, 2019
Don Allen McCurdy, native of Colorado, died August 19,2019. Don was a renowned artist, photographer and owner of Artazia Gallery & Custom Frame. He was HD20 chairman for the Republican Party. He was predeceased in death by his wife of 45 years, Mary. He is survived by his sister Linda "Rusty" McCurdy, John Chapman-McCurdy, nephews Rick L and Allen Don Copeland, a grandniece and nephew. A memorial service will be at Heart of Worship Ministries on October 19, 2019 at 11:00 am.

Don, you were my hero. I looked up to you my entire life. I was your shadow, the annoying little sister always there to bother you. However as we grew up, I was your A&W root beer buddy riding around in your 52 Buick. You&Mary never lost faith in me even when my divorce made me a single mom, you gave up at least 1 weekend a month to concentrate on being a great uncle/godfather. You will never be forgotten.

I met Don at El Paso County Republican meetings and he always had a smile for me. He was a real gentleman and I will miss him. Rest in Peace Don and God bless you!
