Donald Ayotte Obituary

Donald Joseph Ayotte, age 82, passed away April 26, 2009 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born September 7, 1926 in Lowell, MA to Joseph and Eva (Branconnier) Ayotte. Joseph was a long time resident of Colorado Springs. He served in the US Army in World War II and retired from Colorado College in heating and air conditioning maintenance. He married Ida O. Obrist in December of 1958 in Manitou Springs. Joseph loved to cook, experiment with recipes and garden. He was an avid fisherman and loved the companionship of his friends and family. He is survived by his brother, Orald Ayotte; nephews: Ronald Ayotte and Lloyd Kordick ; and niece, Sandra Richardson. Private inurnment at the Shrine of Remembrance, Columbarium of Roses. No services are planned. Memorials may be made to Silver Key, 2250 Bott Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80904.

"By God"... I am going to miss hearing Uncle Don use those words in our conversations. My sister Sandy summed him up perfectly. Don had a network of family and friends that loved him and will dearly miss him.
