Resident of Danville
Donald Decker, a 30 year Danville resident, died peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He owned Marketing North, a manufacturing distribution company, for 40 years. Don volunteered for numerous community organizations - John Muir Medical Center, Danville Police Dept and Discovery Center. An avid raquetball player, Don enjoyed traveling the world and having coffee with his buddies.
Don is survived by his wife of 51 years, Barbara, and his children, Greg (Debbie) and Dana (Shera). He leaves his two grandsons, Cameron and Shree.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 10:30am at St. Isidore's Catholic Church, 440 La Gonda Way, Danville. A private family burial will be held at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon. The family prefers memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the East Bay, American Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice.

I knew Don as he called on me at Longs Drugs for many years. I enjoyed our conversations and always thought of him as a honest, honorable, mild mannered,and a friend. I was also jealous of his good looks, always well groomed, tanned, and his style. My prayer for God's comfort & peace fall afresh on the family and all those close to Don.
