Donald Fagel Obituary

Donald E. Fagel, age 79, of Colorado Springs, passed away peacefully May 10, 2006. He was born December 1, 1926; son of the late Martha and Lester Fagel and husband of Shirley (Penn) Fagel. Survivors also include brother, Lawrence Fagel of Lyncroft, NJ and his sister, late Marilyn Corona. Father of Kristen Fagel and step children: Shari Tighe (John) of Colorado Springs, Kevin (Brenda)Bushardt of Volant, PA., Jeffrey (Deborah) Bushardt of Fort Mill, SC and Keith (Linda) Bushardt of Omaha, NE. Donald is also survived by ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Donald served as a Navy Seabee during WWII in Okinawa. Thereafter, he worked as an insurance safety engineer for 28 years and started his own home and commercial inspection business. Don retired to Colorado Springs in 1997. Memorial Service will be held May 20, 2006 at St. Patrick's Church at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Pikes Peak Hospice, 825 E.
