Donald Robert Fuhs
June 8, 1929 to May 5 2022 age 92
He is survived by his wife Mary (Risha) Fuhs, his brother Richard Fuhs, son Kirt Fuhs, 3 grand daughters, 1 grandson, 1 great grand daughter and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased in death by his parents and son Victor Fuhs.
Donald was born to Robert Fuhs and Evelyn Fuhs at the Norwegian American Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.
Donald was loved by many and an inspiration to his friends and family. Donald enjoyed spending time with the love of his life, fishing, golfing and talking to people around the world on his amateur ham radio.
He was a member of the International Brotherhood Of Electrical Workers receiving a 60 year award. He was also a US Army veteran of the Korean War.
He married Mary Fuhs August 24 1973. They lived in Colorado until moving to Oklahoma in 2005. No services are planned and cremation has taken place as he requested.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to Comforting Hands Hospice LLC in Bartlesville, Oklahoma or your favorite charity.

My Sympathies.
Sometime in the mid to late 1960's, the Fuhs moved to Fountain, CO and lived about 2 blocks from my Grandfather. Kurt was my age, although I don't remember much about him. But I DO remember a scenario cooked up by Mr Fuhs and my grandfather. It seems Mr Fuhs discovered a (domesticated) rabbit living under his front porch, and I was told it was mine; IF I could catch it. My grandfather taught me several techniques in building a "trap" to catch the rabbit. SO, I built a "figure-4" deadfall trap with a carrot as bait that used a wooden box to catch the prey. I checked the trap every morning for about a week with no success, then one day I discovered a rabbit in the box.
Now that I'm much older I' came to the conclusion years ago that someone (probably Mr Fuhs) crawled under that porch and placed the rabbit under the box shortly before I got there.
