Donald Bert Gardiner of Lakewood was a loving husband and father. He was a kind man who never spoke an unkind word about anyone, he was an honest man, hardworking and dependable. He was a faithful servant of the Lord.
He was born on April 30, 1924 in Ogden, Utah to Bertram Alfred Gardiner and Lorna Farrell Wilbur Gardiner. He was the second son of four sons and one daughter. Don returned to his home in Heaven on January 23, 2019.
On March 6, 1945 he married, Anna Beth Charlton. She was the love of his life for almost 74 years. They had three children.
After graduating from college with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Don went to work for Mountain Bell in Salt Lake City, Utah. His job took him to Helena, Montana; Denver, Colorado; Berkley Heights, New Jersey; and back to Denver, Colorado.
Don is preceded in death by his parents; brothers Les, Bob, and Larry; and his sister Bonnie. He is survived by his wife, Anna Beth, daughters Paula (Rich) Millsapps and Marsha (Russ) Mackay and his son Mark. He had eight grand children, 17 great grand children, and four great great grand children.
