Donald Green Obituary

The sun set for Donald Eugene Green, Sr. beloved father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather on December 3, 2013 in Colorado Springs, CO. Don passed away peacefully in his sleep.

Don was born in White Pigeon, Michigan on June 26, 1931. He grew up in Elkhart, Indiana. Don served in the Navy from 1949 to 1952, and while stationed in Chicago he met and married his soul mate Wilma "Billie" Keiser. Billie was born on the Ft. Peck Indian Reservation in Montana.

Billie preceded Don to the Happy Hunting Grounds in August of 2003. It is nice to know that Don and Billie are now together at the big Pow Wow in the sky. Don wasn't born a Native American but became one when he married Billie. Don embraced the culture and the people.

Don leaves behind Mona and Dennis Essary (daughter and son-in-law), Don Green, Jr. and Leann and Larry Nicholas (daughter and son-in-law), brothers Arthur and Jerry Green. He also leaves behind beloved grandsons, granddaughters, many great great grandchildren, nieces and several dear friends.

Don will be laid to rest next to Billie in Poplar, MT.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the St. Labre Indian School in Ashland, Mt. in Don and Billie's name. www.stlabre.org or donor toll free number (866) 753-5496
