Donny,

You were one of my first friends when I moved to Falcon, you became my best friend in many ways. I will always remember and cherish our times together no matter how trivial they seemed at the time. I always seem to be telling stories of our escapades to friends and employees. I hold dear our heartfelt conversations, gripes and complaints but most of all I will hold dear the person that not everyone was able to see.

You were there for me through my trying times. You were there when I met my wife, you were there for me during the illness of my daughter, and you were there for every single important step of my high school life and well into my late 20’s.

I will remember with a chuckle the nights of “cruising”, pulling transmissions with Cookie, the Saturday night drags, Chowing down on pizza at your brothers pizza joint, having your dad wake us up early in the morning to tow cars from ditches, the girls we met on our nights out, working together, worrying together, and playing sports together. The hockey games and concerts the 3.2 nights followed by Denny’s and long drawn “in-depth” conversations. The holiday cards and infrequent phone calls later and most recently in life

Most of all I will remember the piece of my heart and soul that you take with you to better place. Rest well my dear fried, rest well.

I was fortunate enough to spend many happy years growing up with Donny. He touched many hearts through the years and mine is deeply broken. I know someday we will see each other again. Good bye Donny, my old friend, I miss you already. My deepest sympathy goes out to his family.

Your mother was very proud of you Donny and she loved you so very much! The only comfort in losing you so young is knowing that you and our dear Dolores are united again. We will miss you, but you will remain in our hearts as your mother does. Our condolences to your family.

Dear Don,
Long ago, you and I were very good friends. We met in the Fifth grade when my parents moved to Falcon. You were always kind to me and I remember you becoming one of my earliest friends after the move. We would ride the schoolbus
together, sharing thoughts, dreams and scheming ways to torture the girls!;) I remember you were the one that got me interested in playing hockey. Although I only played that one year when we were fourteen together, I remember it being one of the most fun seasons of any athetics (and I played a lot of sports)I ever played. Thank you for that! I remember you as my teammate in baseball during high school. We had fun! The time went fast and graduation came. We slowly drifted apart and lost touch with each other. Now, I realize I am writing this much to late. I just want you to know I have thought about you from time to time and sometimes wondered how to get in touch with you. For whatever lame reason, I never did and now it is too late. Please forgive me for that. I wish I knew more about you and your recent past. I may never know, but I will always remember our time together and you can rest assured you will not be forgotten.

I know where you are now, old friend. Rest and may you find peace and happiness always.

Your friend,
Bryan

My thoughts and prayers are with everyone one of you. To have someone so young taken away so suddenly is still shocking. Don will be missed by many.
