Thank you, Laurie, for your kind condolences. You are a precious cousin. We hope to hold a memorial on the West Coast sometime in the next year for the Bakersfield cousins. Donald will be remembered forever. Love, Rosalind

My nephew Donald was a very special person to me even though we were together infrequently except for family functions. When Donald was earning his Ph.D. at Berkeley, I spent a few days with him and his roommate Jerry. Donald was always a gracious host and one of the most interesting individuals I have ever known; he was so well read he could discuss eclectic subjects. He was very cerebral and a polished gentleman with whom I was related, a fact in which I took considerable pride because of his achievements. His family, colleagues, and the world will truly miss this great man. Frank Walter
