It was very sad to hear of Don's passing. My prayers go out to Don's family. I was a roommate of Don's at BC. Although he "left us" for BU, he never really left and we had 4 terrifically fun years with him in Boston and for years after. When Brian O'Connell let us know of Don's passing, just how important Don was to our friendship group was immediately evident. Emails went back and forth for two weeks with Don stories and memories flowing like they had happened last week. He was that kind of guy. Brian, Bill Kotopoulos, Bob Burke, Dany Letourneau, Mike Sputo, Mike Baer, John Banks and Tony Manzanero all saluted him as I do now. He was something else.
