Donald Lee Trefethen, age 58, died unexpectantly of natural causes in Colorado Springs, CO on June 23, 2022.
Born on July 26, 1963 in Colorado Springs, Don lived his entire life in the city. He worked in hospitality for more than 30 years, most recently at Kum-N-Go and Adventures Out West. An avid Minnesota Vikings fan, Don was a straight shooter who enjoyed games of all types. He enjoyed time with his family at the arcade and in nature, especially fishing. Despite never seeing children in his future, he opened his heart to Patsy's grandchildren like they were his own.
Survivors include his spouse, Patsy Beyerl and three grandsons, Joey James McClung, Oliver James Schneck, and Dillon James Schneck. He was preceded in death by his parents David Trefethen and Donna Cox Trefethen.
An open house to celebrate Don's impact on his friends and family will be Saturday, July 30 (1pm to 5pm) at 535 Blackhawk Court, Colorado Springs 80919.
