Donna Jeanne Bunck passed away in her home in Colorado Springs on May 27th, 2023. She joins her husband John Bunck in heaven after only 71 days without him by her side.
Donna was born on April 18, 1943 in Colby KS, to the Late Theodore and Agnes Kruse. Donna met and then married John Bunck, in August of 1963 and then honeymooned in Colorado Springs. They were so enamored with Colorado that Donna and John relocated there in 1965 where they spent the next 57 years building their family and life together. They were blessed with three children: Kim (Bunck) Noble, Kristi (Bunck) Blanco and Kurt Bunck, along with six grandchildren, all of whom reside in Colorado.
Donna grew up in Kansas with her parents and seven siblings, four sisters and three brothers. Donna loved people and was drawn to careers that enabled her to meet new people. She sold Avon for many years then had a very successful real estate business for 45 years. She brought her son Kurt into the business which he still does today.
Her children and grandchildren were Donna's pride and joy. She talked about them non-stop to anyone who would listen. She made them hats, blankets, and never missed a birthday or holiday for a chance to spoil them. Donna was a woman of strong faith. She prayed for so many and now they all pray for her. Donna's presence will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Colorado Springs on Monday, April 17th, 2023 at 10am.
