Donna Corrigan Obituary

Donna Marjorie "Margie" Corrigan passed from this life September 2, 2009, at Penrose Hospital, as a result of complications from a stroke she suffered while on vacation. Military postings took them to Virgina, Europe, and Labrador, Canada. They eventually settled in Colorado Springs, CO when Tom was posted at the Air Force Academy in 1956. Margie remained close to her Canadian roots by traveling regularly to visit relatives in western Canada and keeping strong family ties between extended family members which continue today. Margie is predeceased by her husband Tom, her daughter Lee, and her grandson Clayton. She is survived by her sons Buck and Charles, four grandchildren, nieces and nephews, as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. Charlie and Buck and the entire Corrigan Family - We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Margie was a very wonderful family friend. Her caring heart was greatly appreciated when her friend Teri was so sick and she cared for her taking her to appointment and sharing a special treat of ice cream. She was one of those rare special friends. Take in your heart that we never say good bye because we will meet again some day. She is in heaven laughing with all her friends, family amd Tommy having that ice cream.

Auntie "M" was an extremely special, vibrant, wonderful woman. I will miss her; her voice, her moods, her love for all of us. Love you auntie - give uncle Tommy a hug for me and tell him all about Alexander.

Our family will miss our wonderful neighbor, Marge. It was always nice to see her working in the yard and chatting with her. We'll also miss all the wonderful treats she would always bring over at Christmas time. Our condolences to her family - the Borre's.
