Donna was born in Norman, Oklahoma, May 9th, 1949. She was preceded in passing by parents Henry Fillmore Hartsell and Billy Sue (Bryce) Hartsell, brother Robert Hartsell. She is survived by husband of 52 years, Robert (Bob) John Fostvedt; son Todd Fostvedt and wife Donna; son Tracy Fostvedt and wife Silvia; grandchildren: Justus Fostvedt; Faith and husband Anthony Whitehead, Hope Fostvedt, Honor Fostvedt, Tyler Fostvedt, Tessa Fostvedt; great grandchildren: Tristan Holliday, Ingrid Whitehead; siblings: Henry (Hank) and wife Cheryl Hartsell, William (Bill) and wife Siobhan Hartsell, James (Jim) and Mary Hartsell.
Donna met Bob on a blind date in Oklahoma City in the fall of 1970. It was a whirlwind romance which led to them getting married on December 31st, 1970. It was a blissful marriage of 52 years. Her passion was taking care of her family (3) men (Bob, Todd, and Tracy), cooking, friends, and let's not forget bowling where the world got to see a glimpse of the wonderful woman she was. She loved Colorado and spent a majority of her life next to the Rocky Mountains.
A visitation for Donna will be held Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at Ascension Lutheran Church, 2505 N Circle Drive Colorado Springs, CO 80909.

I am fortunate to have had Donna as a close friend. What a wonderful person and just plain fun to be with. She is missed.

Donna was such a great sister-in law. I feel really fortunate to have had such a kind, and caring person in my life. Donna always called me on my birthday and she always sent a beautiful birthday card. Donna would always laugh when I would remind her that I was her youngest sister-in law.
James, told me that Donna helped to take care of him when he was a baby and a young child. James said that she was the "greatest sister" ever. We are really sad about the loss of Donna however we are appreciative to have had Donna in our lives.
