Donna Knudten

January 23, 1948

December 17, 2021

Donna grew up near Chicago, but knew from an early age that she wanted to live in the Colorado mountains. She possessed a vibrant, creative spirit, and her friends and family will remember her lovely smile. Talented and artistic, she crafted countless wonderful things in her life, often sharing and teaching them to others. Donna found joy in life's simple pleasures--wildflowers, celebrating holidays, the stars, going on hikes in her beloved mountain home. Finding happiness in every day is no small thing, but Donna did so. What is more, she shared that happiness freely. She will be deeply missed. Donna is survived by her husband, daughter, and three good dogs. Memorial donations may be sent to Teller County Regional Animal Shelter (www.tcrascolorado.org).

So very sorry and sad to hear of Donna´s passing. She was a very kind, joyful, creative person that I enjoyed her as a friend. Always loved getting handmade cards from her. Makes me realize how important staying in touch is. ... I didn´t send a Christmas card in Dec 2021. love and prayers to Knudt and Cori.

I have so many fond memories of Donna as President of our Lake George Book Club, her creative covers for the January Cook Off cookbooks, the fun crafts at the summer reading programs and her deadpan performances at the murder mystery dinners. Donna was a big part of our community and will be very much missed.
