Lt Colonel Rick Douglas, USAF Retired

In the mid-1980´s United States Air Force Space Command in Colorado brought in some dumb jet pilot (me) to transition their brilliant intelligence wizards from typewriters into those newfangled microcomputers with their own unique method of word processing.
As Administrative Assistant for Space Command´s entire intelligence division, Donna was at first overwhelmed at having to essentially learn a whole new way of doing things, and a new language so to speak, in a very limited amount of time. Then, in short order, she achieved proficiency on her new personal computer, taking her entire command section to new heights of productivity. Thanks to Donna's highly successful technology-mastering example, no junior or senior officer could balk at learning to use computers themselves for the future.
I am certain I'm not alone in professing Donna was amazing to work with and is truly missed.

Phil said that “growing up and living next door to the Robinson family, was an example of the best neighbors a family could ever have.” Donna was a beautiful lady who unselfishly demonstrated God’s love to all through her kindness, work ethic, willingness to help, and choosing to do the “right thing”. Her kindness and hospitality were always on display. Sunday coffee with the Robinson family was a tradition looked forward to every week. When it was Donna’s turn to host she always served the best coffee and yummy dessert. After Phil and I were married we were invited also. The first time Phil and I hosted the Sunday get together was the first time I had brewed coffee. Donna always had a kind word for folks. She delicately commented that the coffee was flavorable. It was flavorable alrightit was sooo strong that water ended up as the popular beverage. Her organization skills and neatness were amazing and seen in her beautiful penmanship which was a work of art beautiful and precise. Her ability to grow anything inside and out was a gift. The area of flowers at the corner of the street was always colorful and appreciated by many folks who drove by. Donna’s legacy will long be remembered by all. Hugs, Blessings and Love, Phil and Deb Johnson

To the Family of Donna Robinson, she worked for me for about two years in the Chidlaw Building. He performance was outstanding and I depended on her to complete the most demanding assignments. Because of her ability she was selected to be the lead secretary for the Air Force Space Command Intelligence. I am honored to know Donna; God Bless.
