Dora Jensen Obituary

Dora M. Jensen Age 85, a resident of Colorado Springs since 1985 and previously of Evergreen, CO passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2006 at her home. She was a homemaker and was retired from Jefferson County Public Schools as a Cafeteria Manager. Dora Margaret Mattics was born on November 2, 1920 in Oleny Springs, CO to John and Eva (Mahaffey) Mattics. She graduated from Hugo High School and later married Marion R. Jensen on May 9, 1942. Mr. Jensen passed away on November 6, 2005. Mrs. Jensen is survived by her loving son: SMSGT Sid (wife, Aida) Jensen, USAF (Ret.) of Colorado Springs; 3 brothers: Robert (wife, Iola) Mattics; Jay (wife, Rose) Mattics; Douglas McArthur (wife, Eleanor) Mattics; a sister: Ramona (husband, Charles) Smiley and a sister-in-law: Ruth Mattics. She was preceded in death by her husband and a brother: John Mattics. A visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Wednesday, April 26 at the Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 27, 2006 at Soldier's Memorial Chapel at Fort Carson. Cremation is planned.
