Doris Vega Campbell, 87 of Cheyenne Mountain Care Center, passed away on February 16th, 2021. She was born on January 8th, 1934 in Runge, Texas. Doris was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and enjoyed being a member of the V.F.W. Her life was kept busy by enjoying sewing, gardening, music, and dancing. She loved bright bold colors and absolutely enjoyed flowers.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers. She is survived by her siblings; Elijio Vega, Ysidro Vega, Audelia Urias of Texas, and Adelaide Vega of Colorado. She is also survived by her ten children, Manuel (Beverly) Cobos, Dolores (Jim) Rivera, Eva Cobos (Tony Muniz), Ricardo (Susan) Cobas, Vicente (Bernie) Cobos, Christina (Mark) Rankin, Yolanda (Ron) West, Al (Toni) Patino, Joy Campbell, and Robert Campbell. She has 17 grand-children and 46 great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are being held at Swan-Law Funeral Directors, 501 North Cascade Ave, Colorado Springs. Viewing will be held at Swan-Law on March 1st, from 3pm-7pm. Private Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery.
