(Wade) Chandler

January 3, 2023
Doris Jean Chandler, two days from 86, passed away Jan. 3, 2023, due to complications from pneumonia and sepsis. She passed peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by family until the end. She was a breast cancer (1990) and stroke (2019) survivor. Doris moved from California to Colorado Springs in 1947 and graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1954. She was a longtime employee of school District 11, retiring from Steele Elementary.
Doris (Nana) is survived by her 2 brothers (Bob and Ed), 3 children (Brad, Kendra and Brian), 5 grandchildren (Megan, Whitney, Emma, Adam, and Duncan), and 3 great grandchildren (Lucia, Roanin and Mykala).
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her name to komen.org or childrensliteracy.org

Kendra I am so very sorry you have lost your mom. She sure survived a lot and is now at peace. No pain or agony. I hope you find peace knowing she is not suffering. Focus on the memories.
