Doris Wells Obituary

Doris L. Wells passed away on December 20, 2011 at the age of 86. She was born to Elwin and Eva Wavle in Cortland, NY and was the youngest of six children. In 1946 she married Robert Wells and moved to Black Forest, CO where they resided for the rest of their lives; Robert having passed away in April, 2011. They raised four children - Lynn, Russell, Doreen and Phillip, all of whom still live in the Colorado Springs area. She is also survived by a grandson, Nate Wells, and a granddaughter, Lindy Wells. She was dearly loved by many and will be missed by her entire family for whom she has done so much. In lieu of flowers please send contributions to the Springs Rescue Mission, 5 W. Las Vegas Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80903. Visitation will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3825 Airport Rd. on Tuesday December 27, 2011 at 12:30pm. Services will follow at 1:00pm with a reception afterwards.
