Dorothy "Dot" Angeline Frank Boschert-Berndsen is safely Home in the arms of her Savior Jesus Christ. In her final hours on July 21, 2023, while gazing around at the ceiling, she said in astonishment, "someone has painted beautiful scenes all over the ceiling". She clearly recognized that it was heaven's portal coming down to bring her safely back to her Creator God.

Her family thanks all those who loved and cared for our dear "Mama Dot".
While she is missed immensely, we have great confidence that we shall be reunited with her one day because of our common faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Dot long ago recognized that Jesus is the only way to eternal life in heaven.
Today we know that Dot is more alive than she was one minute before she died. She is alive forevermore on that distant shore, rejoicing with all those who have died in Christ. When she closed her eyes in death, she opened them to the face of God.
In her own hand, Dot had written the following words: "I believe that I am saved by the precious blood of Jesus Christ, and I have a living encounter with Him as my Savior".
