Dorothy Eydenberg Obituary

June 6, 1920 ~ April 18, 2008 Dorothy Marie (Boyle) Eydenberg, 87, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2008 at her home. Dorothy was born June 6, 1920 in Saugus, Massachusetts to James and Beatrice Boyle. She married Monte Eydenberg, Jr. of Revere, Massachusetts July 20, 1944. They spent many years traveling with the US Air Force, till Monte achieved the rank of Colonel before retiring in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Her hobbies included reading and watching western shows. She enjoyed spending time with her many grand and great-grand children. Dorothy was generous and kind to all she knew and will be remembered as a loving sister, mother, nana and grandma. She was Mom to many and will be missed by all. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Monte, her brother, James and her sister, Margaret. She is survived by her sisters; Thelma Fairbanks and Kay Rushford, her children; Mary Eisele, KC Glastetter, Michael Eydenberg, Monte Eydenberg, Paulla Graybill, Donald Eydenberg and Lori Thomas, 15 grand children, 9 great grand children and many good friends. A Mass and reception will be held Wednesday April 23, 2008, 1:00 pm at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 6455 Brook Park Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado. A private inurnment is planned.
