Dorothy Lenhart Obituary

Dorothy M Lenhart, age 83, a long time resident of Colorado Springs, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2005 at the Pikes Peak Hospice Residence. She was a homemaker. Dorothy M. Callens was born on April 30, 1922 in Alamogorda, New Mexico to the late Earl Spencer and Inez Priscilla (Newsom) Callens. She married James Kenneth Lenhart on January 4, 1944. She is survived by her loving husband, Jim of Colorado Springs; one daughter: Sharon Mahnke; one grandson, Aaron Mahnke, Sr.; two great grandsons: Aaron Mahnke, Jr. and David Mahnke, all of Slidell, Louisiana; and three sisters: Marjorie Brookie of Grants Pass, Oregon; Earlene Klaverweiden of Tucumcari, New Mexico; and Ruthanna Droke of El Paso, Texas. She was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Callens of Tucumcari. Memorial Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 3, 2005 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 4125 Constitution Avenue. Private inurnment will be at the Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum. Memorial contributions in Dorothy's name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1445 North Union Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909; Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 4125 Constitution Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909; or Pikes Peak Hospice Foundation, 825 East Pikes Peak Avenue #600, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903. Blessed be her memory.

Sharon & family,
