John, I am saddened to hear of Dottie's passing. While I never knew her personally, her legacy in the So. Nevada legal community is impressive. Looking at past event brochures and press clippings for the Clark County Attorneys' Wives organization, I am truly impressed with her philanthropy and dedication to the local community. As president of CCAW (1983-84), Dottie worked hard on their community service fundraisers including the annual home tour and a luncheon and fashion show. Special thanks to you and Dottie for your service to the legal community!

I was a member of the Clark County Attorneys' Wives while Dottie was President. I didn't know her very long, but she was a pleasure to be with during our lunches, she will be dearly missed.

Dear John,
Please accept my most sincere condolences at the loss of your wife. Dottie's passing from our lives was much too soon and a tremendous loss for the entire state. Working with Dottie at WE CAN and knowing her through the Attorney's Wives organization was truly a privilege. She was hard-working, wise, and had a sense of humor that permeated all that she did. Although certainly strong and independent, she considered her family her greatest strength and was proud of her children. Her compassionate efforts on behalf of abused and neglected children will carry forward for many generations to come. But most of all I remember Dottie as caring, fun, and a good friend. Her smile says it all. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
