The Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 pm Friday 10/23/15 At Angelus Chapel 1104 S. Circle Dr. Colorado Springs, CO 80910.
Du'Shawn was born in Colorado Springs, CO on 1/7/1974. He attended Palmer High School. He was married to Jennie Williams.He worked for Goodwill Industries. He enjoyed sports and classic cars.
Du'shawn is preceded in death by his parents, Bobby Joe and Phyllis Williams, Grandparents, Jake and Mardell Williams, and Minor Lee and Rhoda Moon.
He is survived by his wife Jennie, Brother De'Anzo, Sister De'Neen, Son's Du'shawn Jr. and Maxxwel, nieces, nephews and various extended family members to include the Moon, Morgan, Brown and Dunlap Families.
Flowers or Memorial Donations may be made in person or by phone, to Angelus Funeral Home 1104 S. Circle Dr. Colorado Springs, CO 80910 (719) 391-1918.

Just thinking about who we all were when we were younger. We were together and the simplicity of having fun was the best. Although I missed so much being away in the military, Du'Shawn, your smile and kindness live on every single time I think about you. Our deepest condolences to Family, I feel as though I missed Du'Shawn and can't begin to express the sorrow. I haven't seen him since we were kids, living a few houses down on Las Animas and the many opportunities when Mr. Dunlap brought us all together. I returned home after my military career hoping to see many of the familiar faces I knew as a kid and discover the new in each of us. I miss him. You have our hearts and our prayers.

I just honestly can't fathom that he is gone, I didn't get to see him in person for years but he always sent my mom letters, the soft mixture of sorrow and happiness in her face when she received them. I got to see him once before returning to Utah to finish high school, who knew that would be the last time I would ever see my uncle again. He was so happy to see me and my mom, and now he's gone. I should have said so much more to him, expressed more deeply how much I missed him while he was away.
I miss you so much Uncle, you'll always be in my heart even if you no longer walk the earth.
